The presentation evening took place at Rastrick Bowling club. STBC only have one team (ladies) playing in this league and this year saw that team winning the 2nd Division title and securing their place in Division one next season. As well as the team being Division Two winners, Pam Wood was also the Division Two average winner. The picture below shows Pam and Helen Harrison with the Division Two and Average Winners trophies.

Hx & District Champion of Champions
The Halifax Champion of Champions tournament is a prestigious event that showcases the skill and determination of its participants. This year, the tournament was graced by an exceptional display of talent and sportsmanship, with Gareth Coates of Akroyd Vics clinching the title in a thrilling finale. Sponsored by The Water Wizard (Tony Bannister), the tournament saw Coates secure a remarkable 21-16 victory over Richard Hargreaves of Crossroads
This year, the event took on an even more significant role by dedicating all proceeds from raffles, donations, and sales to the Overgate Hospice, a beacon of care and support for those facing life-limiting illnesses. The Halifax & District Bowling Association along with the Sowerby Tennis and Bowling Club, demonstrated remarkable generosity and community spirit by raising an impressive £784 for the hospice.
